Testimony

I was able to accept myself for the first time in my life in my own skin, down to my core. I know now that I was created to be artistic and sensitive, passionate and beautifully unique! My heart feels warm as if light is shining in places that have never seen the light before, almost like the first day of a new life! A wall came down.

Mother's Healing Retreat

Key to Your Child's Heart Mother's Healing Weekend

September 11-13, 2020

The weekend is designed for mothers of a same-sex attracted or gay-identified child. The goal is for each mother to grow personally and as a Parent/Coach, to learn how to better love and understand your struggling child, and to uncover how your own unresolved issues may be blocking your family’s path to healing.

This weekend away is set at our beautiful country farmhouse retreat in rural Maryland. Our small group of 8-10 mothers is a safe place to process, learn, and heal. You will leave with answers, tools, techniques, and hope to help yourself, your child, and your family.

This weekend will be facilitated by IHF Executive Director Christopher Doyle, MA, LCPC and Family and Relationship Coach Hilde Wiemann.

Location:

Hagerstown, Maryland (approximately 75 miles from BWI Airport in Baltimore, MD). Participants may also fly into Hagerstown Regional Airport by connecting through Dulles International Airport (IAD).

Early registration is $449 by August 15; $499 until the event.

Testimonial

The Mother's Healing Weekend was an awesome experience. We are all struggling... In the shared struggle, my burden is lighter... I am breathing easier. This journey is bearable. I am moving forward with love and confidence. I no longer feel the panic. It is gone. The "I-need-this-to-be-over-now" feeling is gone. I am peaceful, restful, stilled. I am filled.

Father's Healing Retreat
